ABOUT ME

Heaven Leah Richardson, born and raised in Stockton, California. The youngest of 6 siblings has blazed a trail for many to follow. Singing my first solo at age 4 “Lord Help Me to Hold Out.” my father would stand me on chairs or tithing tables, hand me a microphone and tell me to sing. Growing up in a musically inclined family, no wonder it became a love and one of my passions. My gift had taken me all throughout the country and giving me the opportunity to sing behind some of the gospel greats such as: Beverly Crawford, Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin, Jonathan Nelson, Joshua Rogers, David Daughtry & Leandria Johnson to name a few. I recorded and collaborated on various local artist albums which fueled my passion for music. Being groomed for ministry at an early age by District Missionary Florene Lindsey, I learned how to pray, fasting (shutting in the church), the word and how to truly seek the face of God. It was at the age of 7 that I experienced my first encounter with the Lord at a shut in. It was from that point on that you could not tell me that God was not real. As I continued to grow and mature in God, I constantly felt a tug and pull in my spirit for something greater than singing. I knew that there was something more to me than just being a songbird.

Preaching the inspirational word on youth Sunday’s and even on women’s day I didn’t understand what it was all for. As a young girl I didn’t believe that I was called to preach but little did I know I was being groomed and trained for God’s purpose and plan for my life. However, I came from a long line of preachers, evangelist, pastors & missionaries. Preaching, running revivals in various churches and cities, leading praise & worship, inspiring, mentoring, being a mom & entrepreneur has been a blast and joy. My life has become an open book because of the platform that God has placed me on. Being transparent, being relative, sharing truth and helping others have become my focus. Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ whether I am preaching, singing, mentoring, teaching and living God’s word is my purpose. I pray in the spirit and make my request know to my heavenly father for you always.
